How does LanguageFast work?

1. Choose language and direction

First choose which language you want to learn – for example English, Spanish or French.
You can play any combination, such as:

• German → English
• German → French
• English → Spanish
• Italian → German

This makes LanguageFast suitable both for learning German and for learning English, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese.

2. Select a 30-card pack

Instead of endless vocabulary lists, you always learn in compact units of 30 cards.
One pack can usually be completed in 10–15 minutes – ideal for:

3. Learn with flashcards and the Leitner system

Each card is sorted into one of four boxes:

• new vocabulary
• partly known vocabulary
• well-known vocabulary
• consolidated vocabulary

If you answer incorrectly, the card moves back and appears earlier.
If you answer correctly, it moves forward.
This way you repeat each word just when you are about to forget it – this is spaced repetition in practice.

4. Resume started packs at any time

Started 30-card packs are saved. If you need to interrupt a session, you simply continue later where you left off – on iPhone, iPad or Android.

5. Audio playback for better pronunciation

With the integrated text-to-speech function you can listen to every word directly in the quiz. This way you train your vocabulary, pronunciation and listening skills at the same time.
